Yes, these are real wood tractors. The red one is a scaled model of a T-9 crawler. This was built in the Spring of 2004 and took over 200 hours to build. There are real spark plugs, the fan really turns with the belt, and their toilet plungers for joy sticks.
The green one is a John Deere and was made from a pattern.
As John says, "These tractors run on imagination."
This picture was taken in July 2007 as we were waiting in line for start of the Gilman, MN parade.
